DELIVERY
How much is shipping?
Shipping cost will be added at checkout and is £5.50 for all UK orders. Orders will come in a medium or large sized parcel.
Do you provide local click and collect or local FREE delivery?
Yes of course! If you are local to Leigh on Sea and or surrounding areas such as: Chalkwell on Sea, Hadleigh, Westcliff on Sea, Eastwood, Southend Airport area as well as Southend on Sea etc. I can hand deliver your wreath to you. If you’re in surrounding areas but outside the towns listed, you are more than welcome to arrange collection. Just select ‘collection’ at checkout and I will then email you to arrange collection and or delivery time and date. If you are having trouble selecting the ‘click and collect’ option at check out please get in touch with a titled email or inquiry of which options you would like to select once you place your order; whether that be collection or free local delivery.
How long does delivery take?
Standard UK delivery times can range from 1-5 working days.
Click and collect or local delivery will be arranged with you by email, I will be in touch as soon as your wreath is ready.
Custom Orders: Please note that all of my wreaths are handmade items that are designed and handcrafted by myself, if you are requesting a custom order and not ordering directly from the website stock then you are looking at a lead time from 1- 4 weeks.
**Note: I will aim to dispatch orders within 3 working days and your delivery should be with you within 8-10 working days. These dates are not guaranteed as delivery dates may be subject to change due to events outside my control.
Where is my order?
First off, my sincere apologies that your order has not been delivered yet. I strive to get your orders to you as soon as possible as I only want you to have a positive experience with Joyful Door Florals.
A few suggestions before getting in touch: Please check your estimated delivery date on your order confirmation to double check when your order is due. Once your order is despatched, you will receive an email notification from our courier which will include tracking information along with delivery options if you need to reschedule the delivery/change delivery address for any reason. Most deliveries will be with you by 5 working days (working days do not include weekend days). Please wait until your estimated delivery date to receive your parcel. If it is past your estimated delivery date, check the latest tracking information from the courier on the tracking link provided by their service. Unfortunately, I cannot change or fix delays experienced by our couriers, so please only get in touch if there is no update from the courier on their tracking link provided.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Unfortunately no. I am sadden to say that I am not shipping or delivering my products outside the UK at this moment in time. That may change in the future but for the meantime it is ONLY UK DELIVERIES.
How can I hang my Joyful Door Wreath?
How do I hang my wreath?
There is no one specific way to hang your wreath, however, there are a few methods that I would recommend based on what I do & my clients do to hang their Joyful Door Wreaths.
Use large Command Hooks (my personal preferred choice) — These do not mark doors and can hold up to 2kg. There are many different types of Command Hooks available so is very much a personal choice on what style you choose to go for. I like using the clear transparent hooks as it doesn’t take away from the look of the wreath or door colour as it is barely visible. There are also ‘outdoor’ options within the Command Hook range to add extra protection against the weather and elements.
** Please read the instructions carefully on how to apply and use their (Command Hook) products for optimal use. Failure to comply to the instructions may result in damage to your wreath as it could fall off the door due to the command hook loosing stickiness. Joyful Door Florals are not liable to any damage caused to your wreath in this instance.
Over the door wreath hook. — There are many options available online for wreath hooks or hangers. You can get them on sites like ebay & amazon etc.
Hang your wreath with ribbon. — Using a long piece of ribbon, secure this to the inside of your door (usually by the letterbox, a nail or hook on the inside of your door) and then position outside over your door.
Additional Advice: Measure your ribbon from the point on the back of your door to the spot on the front of the door where you'd like your wreath to hang. Loop the ribbon through the wreath and tie it. Loop the tied end of your ribbon under your upside-down hook (Command Hooks work well but you could use a nail or any hook method that you prefer) and drop the wreath over the top of the door so that it hangs down in front.
**Please be mindful of windy weather causing the wreath to swing using this method which may cause damage to the wreath.
General Questions & Wreath Care
Are the wreaths suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. All materials used in Joyful Door Floral artificial wreaths are of good quality faux flowers and are suitable for external use to add that 'wow factor’ to your door! Saying that our wreaths work well inside for decorative use as well. I love to hang my wreaths around my home for a pop of colour.
Are your flowers real?
No. I do my best to source only the highest quality silk, plastic, wax florals so much so that it's sometimes hard to tell the difference! Joyful Door Florals stock is all artificial - low maintenance and able to last forever.
Do you do dried wreaths?
Not at the moment but this is something I would like to offer in the future. I am working on expanding my knowledge by experimenting with drying my own flowers as well as practicing using dried flowers in my wreaths. Once I am confident in my skills using dried flowers I will expand Joyful Door Florals to offer both artificial and dried flower wreaths. Keep your eyes peeled on my social page for any updates about this in the near future.
How to ensure my artificial wreaths last? Are there any care instructions?
I recommend the following to extend the protection and care of your Joyful Door artificial wreaths, allowing you to get the most out of your wreaths over a long period of time, ensuring they last forever.
Extra Weather Protection: If you hang your wreath in a place that gets a lot of direct sunlight exposure and or is exposed to various weather conditions it is advised that you use a weather-protecting spray. This gives your wreath extra protection to prevent your wreath from fading overtime. It is advised that you spray your wreath every 4- 8 weeks for added protection. You can find weather protecting sprays in store, some suggestions are: The Range, Tesco, Wilko, B&M or Hobbycraft and or online (Amazon has multiple spray options to choose from).
Extreme Weather: In extreme ‘bad’ weather conditions such as extreme wind, heat or freezing weather it's recommended that you bring your wreath indoors.
How often do you restock your website or store?
I find joy in making many different wreaths so I don’t often hold a lot of stock as I am frequently experimenting and creating new wreath designs. Due to very limited stock and availability this means my wreaths are first come, first served and cannot be held. So if you love something on my page make sure to snap it up quickly!
However, don’t be too disappointed if you see something you love but says it is out of stock as there will be times I will happily make a specific design again upon your request. So please get in touch with me if you would like me to remake a design that’s on my page.
If I do happen to have a moment to make more stock it will be uploaded as an when; in that case I will inform my clients via my social media platform. This is where you will find the most recent & updated information about my wreaths and upcoming news or events.
Is the wreath I purchase the exact same wreath as the photos seen online?
All Joyful Door wreaths are hand made which may mean the actual product you receive may differ slightly from original photos displayed online. However, I do my upmost best to make sure all products I make are as similar as the ones displayed on my website. If by chance there is any issues with supplies used while making your wreaths then I will update that on the website or contact you directly.
How do I store my wreath?
When you're ready to move onto another season & display the next season's Joyful Door Wreath, I recommend storing your previous wreath in a Wreath Storage Bag. I sell a few storage bags on my website but you can get them anywhere online (Amazon, EBAY etc.). Alternatively a cardboard box will be sufficient. If you have placed an order from me then make sure to keep the box your wreath was supplied in as this can be used as wreath storage! **Note: Always store your wreath in a cool, DRY environment. Be cautious of damp, wet environments as this will damage your wreath and create an environment where mould could fester and grow.
Is it possible to have something bespoke made?
Of course! I love custom orders, colour schemes or briefs. If there is something you'd like that isn't on my page then drop me an email and I will do my best to help!
